My photo
Australia
I ran away from teaching to the country to grow veggies. There are also some chooks and a pair of troublesome goats who were so much trouble they had to go! My simple green life isn't always as simple or as green as I'd like...but I keep trying!

My Seven Posts

Over at her wee farm in New Zealand, Laura has nominated me as one of her five blogs for My Seven Links.  So I have trawled the archives and come up with a post for each of the seven categories.

Now I am supposed to nominate five other blogs to join in. Although I have done this in the past, it doesn't make me feel good...too much like a chain letter.  So, instead, I am inviting anyone who wishes to write a Seven Links Post.  It is good fun going back and looking at old posts and provides an opportunity for readers to either revisit or discover long forgotten posts.

So, who will join me?

  2. This is just the funniest thing ever!
When I saw that first photo I thought it was a Yeti's face!
I loved the goat on the roof and you're right, the tap dancers should have got more attention.
Also loved your snail fence. How do you kill the snails and leave the shells intact?

  5. It's a great idea for pointing 'new' readers to some of your older posts :) I like your Snail Fence. Unfortunately most of our snails are bashed to death by Thrushes.. on the other hand we do have snail graveyards of shells so maybe that works as a deterrent? Mo

  6. Goats on the roof are one thing but goats in the shower are another. :) At least Vera didn't have to pose for a new photo!

  7. IU am glad to bring a little laughter to you on the weekend.

Little Blue Mouse...when snails die they shrivel up and end up as only a little rubbery thing in the very centre of their shell.

Angela: indeed she DID NOT accept the chicks. She pecked three to death, The Cook and I had to euthanise three others who were alive but had their brains and eyes pecked. So we raised the ones we saved.

I hope some of you take up the challenge and put up seven of posts.
