My photo
I ran away from teaching to the country to grow veggies. There are also some chooks and a pair of troublesome goats who were so much trouble they had to go! My simple green life isn't always as simple or as green as I'd like...but I keep trying!

...go away for a week and leave your fork stuck
in the garden.  It may be colonised!

 And do not expect paths...
...even wide paths designed to take a large wheelbarrow,
to remain unscathed either!
Some plants are always looking for new territory to explore.

You can forget strolling down a narrow path in the veggie patch.
This one is completely invaded and impassable!

Yes, I have a new camera
and didn't The Cook do a sterling job
of watering while I was away?!

  1. The Cook did a fantastic job! Your garden is looking fantastic.

  2. Go Cook! She strikes again! What an amazingly lush garden! You do know that you'll have to invite me over to enjoy the bounty...

  3. And me! I'm coming too!! My garden gas shriveled up in the heat. Boooooooo...

  4. Looks absolutely magnificent. I now have vegie jungle envy!

  5. Wow; a veritable jungle. Tell us what the new camera is please Hazel!

  6. I love to see how lush everything is there as we are still under some snow.

  7. Amen! I've had people think they were watering for me but really they only get everything a bit wet on top. That is a heart's delight to come home to.

  8. I think your fork makes for a an avant garde climbing frame!

Thanks for visiting. I love messages so write as much or as little as your want.
