Australia
I ran away from teaching to the country to grow veggies. There are also some chooks and a pair of troublesome goats who were so much trouble they had to go! My simple green life isn't always as simple or as green as I'd like...but I keep trying!

Food security - again

A few weeks ago I did a Sunday Rant about food security
with a follow up post suggesting that we could be
the solution to the problem.

has gone one better.
She found a fabulous video on Youtube,
by Roger Doiron about a subversive plot.

I hope you take the time to watch it.

  1. I did indeed and put it up on my facebook page straight away..it is so true...makes me want to door knock my street and see if I am the only person growing vegies or maybe that Im not alone..???
I wish sometimes I was brave enough to make a big enough 'deal' about it at the kids school..get a veg garden growing at school. I did at kindy which was great, but my children moved on and you know, not another mum ever took it on..I drive past it and the raised bed has been empty ever since...almost 4 years ago...sigh....

  2. I agree. That was very good and I enjoyed watching. Not exactly something I didn't know but something a lot of people don't seem to know.
