My photo
Australia
I ran away from teaching to the country to grow veggies. There are also some chooks and a pair of troublesome goats who were so much trouble they had to go! My simple green life isn't always as simple or as green as I'd like...but I keep trying!

From the mouths of grandchildren...

On day three of Granny Camp....
some of us collected wood for a bonfire...

...then waited patiently for it to be ready for marshmallows.
When we realised our grannies couldn't start a fire in hell...
we went inside and singed our sugar
at the open door of the wood heater.

Some of us climbed gates.

One of us was camera shy...

...and one of us wasn't.

One of us was cute enough to eat...

... and one of us was wise enough to say,

"Grandmothers are like cats.
They can do whatever they want."

  1. Ha! :) My cat would agree.

Hazel would you ask one of your children if they will adopt me? I want to come to Granny Camp.
