I ran away from teaching to the country to grow veggies. There are also some chooks and a pair of troublesome goats who were so much trouble they had to go! My simple green life isn't always as simple or as green as I'd like...but I keep trying!
More lovely visitors and more lovely food. I should have taken a photo of the pavlova with strawberries but had to eat it. I only managed a photo of the pretty salad.
Love your blog! The wheelbarrow planters are too cute-a useful way to re-use or re-purpose! After visiting your site, I'm missing sunny warm days even more :)
You might have paused for a second for the photo of the Pav, especially since I didn't get round to doing one for Christmas!Unbridled pav lust, you need to watch that! Have a fun day - goats? chooks?
That's just the sort of enticing picture I need to see on a very cold winter's morning! Salad that has been imported tastes of nothing, so I'm stuck with what's seasonal - roots and taters, Brussels sprouts and cabbage!
The photo of the wheelbarrows under the title is an old one...they are overflowing with salad now. TRULY barrow loads of green.

Looks so bright and lovely. Looking forward to Spring in Northern Ireland. But looks like more snow for us instead. Kelli
