I ran away from teaching to the country to grow veggies. There are also some chooks and a pair of troublesome goats who were so much trouble they had to go! My simple green life isn't always as simple or as green as I'd like...but I keep trying!

An unknown pretty

Don't know what this is...don't care what this is...just sharing.





It is planted right next to the house...I have never watered it except for whatever rain it may get under the eaves.  I have chopped it back a couple of times.  Obviously it thrives on little attention...either that or these flowers are its last act on Earth.

  4. Thanks Bernie, I had a senior moment the other day and couldn't remember it was a cordyline. But you are right...thanks for finding the name for me...I hope I don't lose it again. :-) They are such a spiky plant and the flower is a bit incongruous.
