It is planted right next to the house...I have never watered it except for whatever rain it may get under the eaves. I have chopped it back a couple of times. Obviously it thrives on little attention...either that or these flowers are its last act on Earth.

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty plant.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers look like they might be Cordyline blooms. They really are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely that it flowered when you weren't expecting it, that is just a marvelous treat!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bernie, I had a senior moment the other day and couldn't remember it was a cordyline. But you are right...thanks for finding the name for me...I hope I don't lose it again. :-) They are such a spiky plant and the flower is a bit incongruous.
ReplyDeleteGlad I could help, Hazel. As for 'senior moments' ... I have 'senior hours'!!!
