My photo
Australia
I ran away from teaching to the country to grow veggies. There are also some chooks and a pair of troublesome goats who were so much trouble they had to go! My simple green life isn't always as simple or as green as I'd like...but I keep trying!

Princess Pinkyness

Spring is still painting beautiful on this side of the world.
The latest is the magnificent ornamental weeping cherry in the front garden.
Pink seems to be Srping's favourite colour.

As if that isn't enough pinkness, here is the rhododendron outside the dining room.

I can't help thinking that all this pinking is in honour of Her Highness, Princess Pinkyness who was born into Autumn on the other side of the world on the first day of October.
Presenting my new granddaughter...the prettiest, pinkest flower in my garden!
Could she be dreaming of a pink spring in Australia one day?

  1. Its amazing how quickly pink can become so special once you have a special pink person to adore (or two pink people in my case!)
