Ingredients:
Crab Apples, Sugar, Lemon Juice (optional)
Method:
Wash fruit, removing stalks and flower ends.
Place in a large saucepan, just covered with water and the juice of one lemon.
Cook until fruit is soft.
Drain fruit (use a colander and then a clean Chux/muslin) retaining the juice.
For every cup of liquid, add one cup of sugar.
Simmer until setting point is reached.
Place in clean sterilised jars and seal.
A beautiful photo of your crab apple jelly which no doubt tastes beautiful too.
