I ran away from teaching to the country to grow veggies. There are also some chooks and a pair of troublesome goats who were so much trouble they had to go! My simple green life isn't always as simple or as green as I'd like...but I keep trying!

Ok, if you insist!


The zucchini was stuffed with couscous
flavoured with the shallots, some fresh herbs and cheese
and baked in the oven.

The potatoes were boiled in their jackets,
smashed and topped with a bit of butter, salt and pepper.

The beans were steamed.

You see, contrary to popular opinion
I can do as I am told...somethimes.

    Oh Liz! I knew someone would ask that and I have forgotten.

    I know the OTHER ones I planted are Toolangi Gold...but that's no help.

    See that is why I need the other blog to remember what I plant...and when.
