Just received an email from The Cook saying the 'viney thing in the greenhouse' (I think she means my gorgeous cucumber) is looking a 'bit yellow'. It is horrible when your kids are sick and you can't minister to their needs. I will probably lose sleep over this one. Arrgh!
Try not to!
ReplyDeleteAny news of the goats..? Hopefully living the life of Riley in their "hotel".
ReplyDeleteHazel, it's so grey and wet in eastern Australia that everything is looking a bit yellow. I know I am and possibly the Cook is too. The cuke will perk up.
ReplyDeleteTotally understand. I never want to go away in Spring again! All Winter holidays from now on so I don't have to fret about my garden.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why this is making me giggle, but it is. I can just see your face go grey halfway around the world.
ReplyDeletePeople who take international holidays obviously need to make sacrifices :D
Why Ali! I can feel the love from here...you are so, so compassionate! You also need to know that I had another email and my seedlings have carked it because the Cook slept in on a hot day and didn't vent the greenhouse. Boo hoo hoo! Poor little broccoli. Mind you, I am not sorry I came over. I am having a lovely time with my son and DIL and the kids. Although it has taken till today for my grand daughter to stop screaming every time I am within three metres of her. LOL
ReplyDeleteHope the cucumber plant makes it!
ReplyDeleteit is all worth it in the end have a lovely time.
ReplyDeletehope your nursing/mad scientist skills soon defeat the foe!
