My photo
I ran away from teaching to the country to grow veggies. There are also some chooks and a pair of troublesome goats who were so much trouble they had to go! My simple green life isn't always as simple or as green as I'd like...but I keep trying!

Fat Fruit Friday # 8 - Leafy and fruity

Yes, I do know it is Sunday,
but if it is any consolation, these photos
were taken on Friday.

The greenhouse is a wonder!

One capsicum...

...and more on the way.

Salad leaves and...

...huge leaves on the eggplants.

A little tomato and...

...ripening chillis.

Everything is so lush.

Oh, I know I promised pictures of the tomatoes.
But for some reason the computer keeps turning the
photos on the side and they just don't look as
exciting that next week.

  1. I still have greenhouse envy!!!! That eggplant leaf is HUGE already. And is that a little stick insect on your capsicum?

  2. The vegies are not only advanced but strong and healthy. The greenhouse really makes a difference. HDW

  3. Hazel are all these things from seed?

I am so moving down there and setting up camp in your greenhouse... with the children - we are short people.

Imagine how quickly we'd grow out of that!

  4. Love, love, love that first harvest. its so exciting. well done.

  5. Hi Hazel. Are they Aurora Chillies you are growing? They look great. I love ornamental Chillies.

  6. It's as if you are living in the sub-tropics isn't it.

  7. It all looks wonderful! I am missing the freshness of our garden.
