My photo
Australia
I ran away from teaching to the country to grow veggies. There are also some chooks and a pair of troublesome goats who were so much trouble they had to go! My simple green life isn't always as simple or as green as I'd like...but I keep trying!

Diggers - Heronswood

I was, I was...the fat, old, daggy blogger
at the Melbourne Blogger meet at Diggers' Heronswood
Spring open day at Dromana.
But, I don't think it mattered.

The gardens are fantastic
and the bloggers even fantasticker!
and Phoebe were even gorgeouser than I could have imagined.

Sadly, we missed Belinda and Frog Dancer!

I didn't take my camera,
but if you follow the links to the other bloggers who attended,
you will see lots of pictures.
Heronswood, is lovely and an inspiration.

I hope we can have another blogger's get together soon.

  1. HAZEL! You are so NOT fat old and daggy! Sparkling of wit, twinkly of eye and not a day over 26. I LOVED meeting you and could give you a hug right now then moan about the disaster that are my bean seedlings eaten again by evil slugs and snails. Snails even in my roses! And I didn't even think that snails ate petals...so what is it doing there??

  2. Don't be silly Hazel! You are gorgeous and funny, and knowledgeable and fabulous and all round awesome!
I loved meeting you and felt that we had been friends for ages. Next time I'm out your way, I'll have to come and say hello and have a cuppa with some of the cooks treats (is she'll oblige of course!).
I had so much fun, lets do it again!!!

  10. We did have a lovely morning and it was great to meet you in person. Did you notice I lugged my camera around and then took just 1 photo - Mr Good took a few more earlier in the morning. It was slightly awkward to take shots with the baby strapped to my front.
