- I ran away from teaching to the country to grow veggies. There are also some chooks and a pair of troublesome goats who were so much trouble they had to go! My simple green life isn't always as simple or as green as I'd like...but I keep trying!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful header photo - there have been some beautiful sunsets in recent weeks.
In AS there has just been blue skies and blue skies with the exception of yesterday when the smoke from the bush fires took over at sunset and the sun glowed that eerie orange colour. There has been so much growth here this year with all the rain and there has been a lot of fires.

ReplyDeleteNormally I'd say I was jealous of your opportunity to sow and plant right now, but today I am also sowing: I'm going to try overwintering some lettuces under the protection of the cloches I bought in the Spring. I have "All Year Round" and "Winter Density". I am also sowing some Catalogna chicory, which allegedly matures in about 30 days.
