My photo
Australia
I ran away from teaching to the country to grow veggies. There are also some chooks and a pair of troublesome goats who were so much trouble they had to go! My simple green life isn't always as simple or as green as I'd like...but I keep trying!

Where.we.got.to

Well,.it.may.not.look.much.at.the.moment.
The.Cook.commented.that.
it.doesn't.look.as.'rustic',as.she.had.thought.

But.these.are.just.her.foundation.garments
over.which.the.rustic.dress.will.be.draped.

it.took.a.lot.of.effort.to.get.to.this.stage...
getting.it.square.with.the.posts.perpendicular.in.all.directions
took.much.longer.than.we.imagined.

We.had.to.finish.off.
but.the.labourer.will.be.back
next.week...if.the.weather.is.good
and.i.will.be.doing.more.by.myself.in.the.meantime.

it.is.tricky.imaginining.something.in.its.place.
no.amount.of.stepping.out.or.squinting.at.the.space
is.as.good.as.seeing.something.in.the.ground.

i.am.thrilled.with.the.proportions.
The.kitchen.is.big.enough.
but.isn't.overbearing.in.the.area.

  7. Your on the way!!! digging holes is hard work and levels do take a bit to get right but will be all good in the end. Love the view, will you put in a window to frame that view and for light? Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts! cheers.
