My old work boots have a hole in the sole! That is because I work so hard.
Check out the new ones. Well they aren't new but from the op-shop.
My old Mum would never let us wear second-hand shoes because she said they ruin your feet. But these ones are hardly worn and haven't been moulded to someone else's feet.
They are Blundstones and cost only $12.00.
BARGAIN!
The Cook reckons they are 'Dead Biker's Boots'...but I won't think about that.
I have checked and there are no blood stains.

I was only going to take one photo with Claude, but he really got into modelling so, hence the series.

He has the most content look on his face in the last photo! I like cats that are like dogs, they are so much easier to get on with. Usually when a cat sees me, it runs a mile and doesnt return till I'm gone. Seriously they do. I must smell funny or something...

ReplyDeleteThey are probably just someones that had them for work, and then didnt do that job anymore, hence sending the shoes to the oppy shoppy....enjoy your new to you shoes...they cant be any worse than the shoes I wore at the bowling alley last week....lol...
ReplyDeleteBARGAIN!!! Gotta love op shopping!..and a gorgeous Claude you have there, Hazel.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bargin!!
ReplyDeleteI use to have a cat that had a thing for shoes. She loved to sleep in amongst mine.
Your Claude is lovely :)
Blundies for $12!!!No wonder he looks happy but where' the ones for his back feet?
ReplyDeleteDead Biker Boots - I like that one! You are lucky to grab such gems - well done. Claude looks very happy with them too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics! My cat Oscar loves to roll all over shoes too, smearing his man scent on them. :p
ReplyDeleteIn our house we refer to this sort of activity as "cattying up". Cattying up can be either the ultimate sign of approval or a desperate action to make offensive objects smell better.
ReplyDelete$12?? WOW, congrats on that bargain! I forked out much more than that last year for a pair but they are so comfy. Cute pictures, we used to have a cat called Claude..although he was a ginger tabby :) Back to the boots - I'm thinking an unwanted gift..perhaps not the right size. No bad energy in those boots, wear them well my dear!
ReplyDeleteYour kitty is a model for shoes? Hmmm...I need to think about getting our cats to make some money around here:) They eat up all the profit.
ReplyDeleteRe Claude: "Interactive", yes. "Active" , possibly not (on the strength of the evidence presented).
ReplyDeleteYou have a media tart there Hazel... as for the boots, $12 for a pair of blundstone is a bargain in my book, dead biker or no dead biker. After I got I hope someone buys a pair of my shoes and blogs about them :)
ReplyDeleteI couldn't concentrate on the boots as the cat is so lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteA fellow cat lover here!
We in the UK of course have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to Blundstones.. Presumably our equivalent is the Doc Martens?
ReplyDeleteModelling and energy conservation combined - Claude is definitely one smart cat.
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet photos. Funny how cats love shoes.

Cats just know that they're cute..
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of your warm weather-it's snowing like crazy here..I need some knee-high boots!
What a find! Perhaps I need to get myself a new pair of boots when Winter arrives. Hope I find a pair as nice as yours.
