My photo
Australia
I ran away from teaching to the country to grow veggies. There are also some chooks and a pair of troublesome goats who were so much trouble they had to go! My simple green life isn't always as simple or as green as I'd like...but I keep trying!

Roundups

We were missing a hen at lock up time yesterday.  It was one of the refugees and she had broken out.  I had a bit of a look along the creek and around the property but it was already quite dark.  I wasn't hopeful for her safety.  There are a couple of pups up the creek who look as if they would love a chicken dinner and, although I haven't seen any, there are sure to be foxes hereabouts.

However, this morning I went out and looked again and there she was, two houses up pacing the fence wondering how to get over.  Having found that the grass wasn't that much greener on the other side of the fence she acquiesced to follow me home...well she followed the grain I had.  So that was roundup number one.

And here is a roundup of some photos I have taken over the last few day. I hope you enjoy them.

This may look like it is upside down...but it isn't.
