It really is a freshly laid egg
Following the earlier posting, which proved to be a false alarm, I am happy to announce that at least one of the hens is laying. The photo is the first of five eggs we have had over the last week. They are a bit on the small side as pullet's eggs should be, they have golden yolks and are delicious.
