I ran away from teaching to the country to grow veggies. There are also some chooks and a pair of troublesome goats who were so much trouble they had to go! My simple green life isn't always as simple or as green as I'd like...but I keep trying!

Odds on favourite

Today was one of my favourites.
We went to the Kyneton Races.

Nothing like a country race meet.

Entertainment

Lots of colour.

Up close and personal with the horses.

A spot on the rail.

The youngest punter in the group, 
consistently picked place-getters 
in all races but the last...
where he backed the winner.

There's Grandma's horse...at the back...again!

    LOL!!! Looks like Grandma had a blast:) I always look forward to certain traditions or events every year. This looks to be a good time!
