I ran away from teaching to the country to grow veggies. There are also some chooks and a pair of troublesome goats who were so much trouble they had to go! My simple green life isn't always as simple or as green as I'd like...but I keep trying!
Delicious! I too have held out on pulling out the summer crops only because I am too lazy to do it. I am also hoping against all hope that some of those wretched green tomatoes will ripen up.
snap, I am still waiting for my last crop of corn....I managed to get two in this year...also, I found a solitary pumpkin..so there goes pulling out the pumpkin vine too......I will have to wait...
You people are all too soft not pulling out your veggies yet! No, I'm just jealous that my crops finished so early! That corn looks so fabulous! Mine were so small and finished 2 months ago. Was it an almost 100% meal Hazel? Sounds delicious! We had our first fire last night too. It was so cozy!
That corn looks fabulous Hazel. Couldn't get much better than that. Love the arty photo of the fire - but the new Profile picture is a bit less so maybe????
