I ran away from teaching to the country to grow veggies. There are also some chooks and a pair of troublesome goats who were so much trouble they had to go! My simple green life isn't always as simple or as green as I'd like...but I keep trying!

Even a cabbage can be beautiful.


Don't you love the way water beads on cabbages?

The cabbages and their mates the broccoli, cauliflower and bok choy are doing well under their anti moth net. But I still had to pick a couple of fat caterpillars off...probably came as eggs with the seedlings (proves I should have grown them from seed myself!)

    I think the cabbage moths have made friends with my plastic cabbage moths. They are supposed to be frightened off by them!
